Why is this relevant?

Amongst the holiday festivities, last week’s social media saw thousands of Indians join the worldwide #MeToo campaign. It was an uproar by victims of sexual abuse, the idea was that the magnitude of numbers might speak for the gravity of the situation and it was shocking for us to see so many of our colleagues, relatives, and friends come out to acknowledge this harsh reality

Facts like ” 80% of college students in India watched porn; 40% of these watched rape porn and 76% admitted that watching rape porn led to the desire to rape women.

And that is exactly what the filmmakers aim to do with their film. Bring this taboo out in the open and make audiences empathize with this widespread reality.

  1. This is really sad, that people actually watch rape porn! I hope things get sorted and dealt with in the right way!

  2. How can people even watch rape porn this should be stopped and strict measures should be in place. Grrat initiative.

  3. Great initiative. Very important to create awareness. Shocking statistics but it’s true. Entertainment industry should showcase content which brings taboos out in the open.

  4. Sometimes it scares me to think about the world we live in. But initiatives like this make me believe there is always good in the world. Would love to watch it and share with others to spread awareness.

Love to hear from you :)
